OK guys, i'm off to meps tomorrow then boot camp, they changed the dates on me so I'm leaving a few days early. Tonight is the last night I will be on this forum for a long while, I'm suppose to be packing right now.....

did you fiber glass it ? and has this boat been biult at a bigger scale ?at the moment converting my plans to a3 . i jhave a problem i love to biuld the boat but never finish.but well done nice cat. lets see the tuned up vid

What we did was coat it in epoxy, which works out rather nicely you can just sit at the table or work bench and brush it on it flows out real well and if you sand it between coats ti turns out extremely smooth, we did put some fiber glass on the floor where we mounted everything plus the floor needed a bit of stiffening, the one I am working on I doubled the floor up with another piece of 1/64" plywood and then brushed some epoxy on it then I glued my custom made servo mounts to the floor and it is really tough now.
I think the trick thing to do is to cut out all the bulkheads in the electronics compartment and lay some fiber cloth and coat it with epoxy making the bottom real flat for battery Clarence (which could be a problem otherwise) as there is not much room anyway every thing is real tight in there.

Sorry it took so long to get here but I finally made it and here are a couple of pictures for you to ogle!!!
She's not perfect but will look great out in front of you, I still have a bit of detailing to do yet but we will get there!!!
