Yes you can, just have to pretest the epoxy in a small area to make sure no melting issues...least thats what I would do.... DJ

The best advice that I can give you and I won't charge you any fees is this: Do the best you can to keep your boats the same color. Now that you have started with blue, stick with it. my color is yellow, ( my Pursuit was yellow) and every other major addition to my fleet is yellow. My motto is that "as long as it is yellow, she can't tell the difference from a mono to an out rigger."
Although I am divorced, she comes almost several days a week to visit our child, she ALWAYS sees some yellow contraption and has not asked for more money. It works!

Disclaimer: DJ, sorry to liberally quote your writing, hope you won't be offended.
Too many boats, not enough time...

My buddy and I share one and its a nice tool. The cups you put ketchup in at mcdonalds etc... make good mixing cups, epoxy mixing doesnt need to be all that exact, just close. I have used those cheap sponge brushes numerous times with good results, but the actual epoxy brushes are nice to reach into the tight areas... DJ

well felt pretty good to day so got some stuff done. i am thankful that my neighbor has a full wood shop next door and give me the key to play, got the hatch layer in and epoxied other then the finger prints from my daughter picking it up to set the table it can out well, transom doubler cut and know waiting on the z-poxy to come in now the eges are rough on the hatch got to find a way to smooth them out and dress them up for a good fit.

Once the hatch is dry take some heavy scissors and trim it up, then use a block and sandpaper to finish. You may want to put a couple layers of carbon fiber on the transom doubler before installation. You could do the Cf inlay on the hull first, let dry then stand up on the transom and epoxy the Cf/wood doubler in place. Makes for a nice neat job. You can tape off around the transom edges and tint the epoxy black for a nice seam finish or get some black aquarium silicone and put a nice bead around it.
