Pics of the stinger being autioned off.. I will start the bidding off at 30$ , let the bidding begin: Pics will be added as it progresses I will also add the measurements later... Later in the build I will be makeing trim tabs and turns fins of various sizes. Stay tuned for specials.....

Looks good Dave...

How long is that stinger?

And what size stub is it setup for?

Also- if you're camera has an MACRO setting, it will make those closeups clearer.

It will be for a 3/16 stub. I use my cell for pics. Guess I could dig out my digicam, but it eats cells faster than a saw boat. But for close ups I guess its worth it. Thanks for the advice Kurt....

I believe the model name of the boat is the Herb Stewart SSV and his tunnels are SST.
I am interested to see how this build turns out, that is a sweet riding hull.

I went and got supplies to make a stinger, just havent made up my mind what direction im going. I plan on useing ideas and concepts from different makers so I am hopeing to come up with something cool. Tho all in all it ends up just being a way to get the prop in the water. Sci Flier stopped by last night and we btrainstormed at the lhs then came to my place and went over a bunch of different ideas.. He brought gifts of a 6mm propshaft from rcmk and a 3/16 cable.
He aslo brought some "e"glass for makeing the stringers.. I like the proshaft because it is beefy and also has a longer bearing surface....

I have been looking at the hatch and thinking hmmmm..... what to do there??
Do I keep it simple and do the normal bubble persay or do I do something scale?
I can vac u form the cover or I can use F/G. All the desicions to make, the fun of building a boat.....

I made some nice progress on the stinger up for aution I will be posting the measurements and maybe a new pic later today.... come on guys bid or it will go to the swapshop.. This will be a one off stinger be the 1st and only to get this rare oprtunity to have a custom stinger for your lastest build....

here are some pics of one of herb's personal boats. it is the shorter version of that hull. you can see he just painted the wind screen black and runs clear plexi taped down for the hatch.

Nice pics....Any history or set up info... or links to boat set up???

Here are some updated pics of the stinger...
Its measurements are 3 1/2 from transome to end of stinger
1 3/4 tall and 1 1/2 wide
There is adjustment for trim angle plus or minus at least 5 degrees.
2 brass bushhings will be included

I have a 21scat cat begging for twins, but that project is on hold right now. I would also like to do a 32" twincat. I already have a twin sv27.
