I built this over 5 years ago , it has 5 min run time on 4s 10,000 mah with a 1515 2200kv. I had many many runs with it . It's a T29 with a custom inline rudder spinning a 440 3b. If the setup works in a mono then it should be twice as reliable if you did two of them in those bullets your building. I'm only speaking from my personal experience and wouldn't hesitate to drop in some faster motors.

Video with cheap lipo , high 40 mph

Video after I sold the boat to a friend with better lipo's , 53 mph !

Thx, we are looking at 70mph + out of a single motor in each one. Im already there with mine and know it works so we are just kinda copying my combo.

Lmao.....they are twins....the hulls...lol...but Ying and yang type. When you see what I'm doing with both of them, it's going to be pretty cool.

This may give you an idea. The fg hull is going to be painted a bright orange and have a carbon top. Visa Versa for the carbon boat.

I run the fiberglass version of the rivercat with the tacon 4074 2150kv motor on 6s with a 545 prop and consistently run 70mph on 6s. It gets pretty warm to the touch but ive been running it for over a year now with no issues

That's pretty awesome. What esc? The rivercat I have right now has a castle 1800kv motor, m545 prop and 6s and it runs 70.0mph. It can cade more prop because nothing gets warm. I just bought some better lipos and a Prather prop, it should see about 80 this weekend. I hope. Lol

I run a t180 in it. I had a early model swordfish 200 in it that was used when I got it, it lasted exactly 1 battery pack before it smoked. I think it had something wrong with it when I got it though. Here is a pic next to my fantasm

Update. Got pretty much all the parts in for the carbon build. Tp motor, v3 hobbywing esc, harware, savox servo, two flex shafts (he wanted a spare) decals, carbon battery trays. Now it's time to get busy. I started sanding the inside of the hull but it's been so hot the past few days I haven't finished sanding yet. Inlay will be done in the next day or so. In the mean time, wanted to see what the motor and esc looked like in it....

Got the inlay done. Epoxy in tips, tunnel and transom. Had some pin holes in the joining seam....luckily I reinforced it along the seam. We would have been letting water in. Got the servo mount built too.
