To make a long story short the boat didn't like the spaced fins, quickly confirmed that on the first lap , made a second lap to be sure, brought boat in took out spacers ,much better. Finished the charge out and boat was fast and on edge , you could tell there was to much lift and it looked as if it could blow over in a moments notice with little improvement to the high speed wobbling. For the second run all it did was put a little positive on the strut and bam ! That's the night and day difference I was looking for. The more defined square edge like a trim tab is what it needed. I shaved some top speed but I can go fast straight with no worries. The sharper fins are letting the boat carve a little quicker as well. Making a new strut by this weekend implementing the things I learned from this one. Basically I did this strut ride plate on the fly with no real accurat measurements , just eye balled it and cut and see what happens. I know the mor positive I put on the strut the more it shaves water of the prop so next ride plate will be more level with the keel. The vid isn't the best but it's something .
