Ron, Customers are unwilling to pay the labor costs that it takes to do those, so probably not.

I got 2 sponson pairs decked, and 3 of the center sections decked. Here are some quick pics before I head to work. Mike

Man, I can't wait to get this boat! You remember those X-mas preasents where you knew what you were getting but no matter how much you begged your parents would make you wait till X-mas anyway? Well that's how I feel right now!

              Just adding to Ron's question.
Have you thought of adding skins & stringers to a couple of your tenth & eighth scale framing kits. Possibly the ones that build up into multiple variations. Cowlings can still be separate from R/C Boat Company.
I ask this because there are many people in the clubs I belong to would buy such a kit. They just don't because it's not a complete hull kit. To some, buying & cutting the extra sheets etc for a framing kit is easy. To others it is a bit of a task.
You have the Lauterback in this format (complete with cowlings) but there are three being built in our club already, & the guys would just like some other offering.
I'm sure they are not the only ones around the planet that feel this way.
Maybe a Vintage & a more Modern one of each scale.

              Worth considering?

              Paul.

                    Lasse S,

Did you still want the CF Center section? Let me know asap as I want to install that tonight and deck that center section. Its the last center section I have left to deck.

I just bonded the first 2 sponson pairs to their 2 center sections. So essentially, the first two hulls are built, just need to epoxy and fit the cowling! Mike

Pics soon. Its 7am in the morn, time to get ready for work!

Paul, just noticed this. Unfortunately, to do sheeting for every kit, means I have to build ever kit to make the templates. As you can probably tell, that would require a vast amount of money and time to do so. Doing sheeting is so easy. All you have to do, is get poster board, cut it out slightly larger than your sheeting area, and crease it along the outer edge of the area of the piece you are trying to create. They cut along the crease with scissors, check fitment again, if it all looks good, then use that as your template for your wood sheet. Make sure you have enough overlap to sand back flush! Its really that easy. Mike

Sorry for the delays in pics, and finishing these up. Here are some pics. 2 hulls are done, just need to trim cowling, and epoxy the rear hatch, then they are ready to go. Both the other center sections are built, and one of the sponson sets are done, just need to deck the other sponson set tonight. I will very much have these done this week. Mike

Tim, Just so you know, I have part of your gp265 kit here, but the laser guy is going to have to recut some parts. Seems the machine cut the etching so hot it went all the way through. I am not to pleased, but nothing I can do but wait. I woke up this morning, and seriously started reviewing getting my own laser and starting a laser cutting business. I am close to tired of dealing with these mistakes all the time.
