    I really like these popeye hull's, can you buy the bare carbon hull from anywhere? Kintec has bare glass hull but they dont list a bare carbon hull

      I bought mine from ampeaterracing but I don't believe the site exists anymore. I'm sure you could email Monica with TFL and they would lay one up for you.

        Maiden run yesterday. A few tweaks and I'll have it going a little faster. But I'm extremely happy with the maiden run.

          Write Steve V. with OSE an email. He is usually willing to get special items from TFL with his larger orders. Better to get through a dealer than ordering a single item direct from Monica with TFL. The shipping costs kill.

            Nice looking... I love my Popeye!
            I took 3rd overall at the Michigan Cup 2016 in P-Limited Sport Hydro. It's a nice stable boat.

              Sir what is a good starting height strut and prop size ? i can't find much info on the strut setting Thanks

                IIRC you should start somewhere around 47mm prop. Like a y547. Depending on your setup. And centerline of driveshaft should be somewhere around 1/4"-3/8" from the bottom of the transom. A great source of experience with this hull can be found in the following link.
