You are right, the next project is for him to build! However, he is building one of my 1/8th scale trailers on his own, so that is a good project for him to learn!
Oh, and on another note. For you guys going to the Nationals at the end of this month, be sure to put in the raffle. I donated a couple nice things!Laser cut, birch plywood rc race boat kits- WWW.MLBOATWORKSRC.COM WWW.DINOGYLIPOS.COM

Well, my friend that has all the molds is still learning the Lost Wax Mold technique and has not released any outboards yet. I do have the cowlings available tho. I laid this one up in black gelcoat last weekend. My goal, if the lower unit being made is delayed to long, is to make an adaptor to fit cowling to the Arrowshark lower unit. I want to lay up a hull soon too. Been busy with other things that were on time deadlines. That is finally easing up. I can focus on other projects now, like the GSX380 38" sport hydroplane prototype. Mike

I use CA to tack the framework together, and to add the ride surfaces, then I go back and coat the entire inside with a slow set epoxy and fiberglass cloth/ or carbon, where its needed. The top decks, since they are the last piece of sheeting added are fully coated with epoxy, and taped in place. This way all internal parts are epoxy coated. The CA is simply to hold things in place so they will be rigid while applying you epoxy as it does the real work!Laser cut, birch plywood rc race boat kits- WWW.MLBOATWORKSRC.COM WWW.DINOGYLIPOS.COM
