I have a better idea on the hatch hold down. I was gonna use hatch locks. I don't like how big a Hole I have to drill to make them work and weakening my hull which I don't want. I was recommended to go with hatch bolts. I don't like the idea of having to fumble with an Allen wrench. So my idea is some knurled aluminum thumb screws.

The stuffing tube and motor mount turned out first rate, nice job. Excellent work on the servo mount to. Your really outdoing yourself on this one. I am almost ready to start my build thread, been a long time coming and should have it up within a few days, if not today. Keep up the top notch work!Comment

Next time just measure and mark holes to be drilled on the hatch keeping in mind that the thread bosses have to sit in the hatch lip. Then with the hatch on, drill your holes through hatch and hatch lip."There's nothing else I really want to do other than get up and build boats." - Mike FioreComment

I didn't trust myself holding the drill straight or maybe slipping and scratching it up lol.32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) wasComment

Hatch is done. I put the foam Seal on. I have some temp hatch screws on there for now. The motor is mounted. Wires shortened on the esc and motor. Blue loctite on all the screws. I'm laying the straps and velcro for the batteries right now while the epoxy dries on the ubec. Servo is mounted. Rudder and linkage done. Two part foam floatation in the hull and hatch is done. Basically I have to run the cooling lines and finish hooking up electrical. Almost done!

I had some issue with the cooling lines and steering linkage getting in the way of each other. I had to recent the steering linkage and run a short piece of brass tubing to the cooling bulkhead fitting. I didn't want to take the chance of it binding. Its good now but took a while to get it sorted. All I have left is the power connections on the esc and its done. I decided to call it quits for the night. Here's some pics.
