Unfortunately the old exhaust holes are half thru the cover and half thru the transom, I am thinking of putting some back tubing epoxied in and plugged to give the illusion of pipes.
As for the stinger being neutral do you mean level with the bottom?
    Double tape the cover!!! Yes!!!

Well yesterday I finally got to take her out for a shakedown and unfortunately it was windy and choppy which made for a short maiden run.
I shot a very short video as I was alone and had to film one handed on my iPhone.
On Tuesday I am heading out for an 8 day camping trip in the Sierra's and will be at some perfect lakes to run her in flat water and get her trimmed out correctly, I was not able to tell how balanced she is with the heavy chop.
Still pretty cool to see her run!

Finally got some flat water to get the Vee onto for some testing, after some adjustments with the stinger and battery COG it ran great! I am happy with the performance and it ran cool after ten minutes pretty much flat out.
I ran a 40 and 42mm prop both 1.4 pitch and am going to try a 45, maybe going with a 42 with a 1.6 pitch, need to order some and try different configs.
This week she gets stripped and painted, should be able to see if there is anything loose ect.

Thanks, I have the itch now! I will be doing the final work on this boat in the next couple of weeks then starting to build a small all wood boat, as I am building I am going to start a list for a FAST setup, I am leaning toward either the Delta Force 36 Cat or the Delta Force 34 Hydro.
