This hull is the largest Ive done. Ive been using traxxas wp servos in all my previous boats. Not sure if the larger traxxas is going to have enough torque to handle this size hull. I am considering using a wp Savox, any input would be appreciated... DJ

Well D.J since you made the invitation. Here's my effort. I love this boat. And so will you.
Unfortunately I have some damage to fix before the start of the race season this year. I hit a dead boat in the last race of the season, last year. Disqualified of course. Went from first place in the championship to fourth at the end of the race after the crash. That's how close the points were after a year of racing. The guys at the club won't let me forget it either.

Paul, you built a beautiful GP400. You are very welcome here, even if your toilets flush funny. It was seeing the look of yours and how it ran, that convinced me that I had to have one. Sorry to hear about your loss, but for a new untested boat thats a very impressive achievement.....DJ

A mistake on my part in wording. I did NOT build this hull, sorry for the misleading statement on my part. My hull was built by Mike L. for a good friend of mine (H201). I recently purchased the hull from Mark and the hardware HE had bought and customized for this build.... DJ

This motor mount is impressive, I like all the adjustment options. Rudder has been modified, still have to cut it down some and sharpen.....

Mike, I go by DJ ....Im the guy in Asheville NC (about 5 hrs from you) who has been working on getting a rc boat club going for formerly homeless vets and others...we have a club pond that is open to all, regardless of type of boat or if your a vet or not, plus we have a few other lakes ponds open for our use but those are FE only. Danny, Mark and others have been a great help to me here on OSE...I had to pry that PS295 out of Danny, that is my favorite boat and NO one but me touches it ! Once the weather gets better maybe we can plan a run what ya brung day..after I finish the GP400 (major learning curve going on here) I going to get a 1/10 scale kit from you to build with the vets. The more of them that see what my one good bud here and I do with boats, the more interests seem to be growing...again tks for your help... DJ

DJ, That is very cool of you. I am glad the 295 went to a great home. When you, or the other Vets need any kits, you personally let me know, and I will make sure I get them what they need at my very best discount. Mike thats very of you tks ....

Got the strut mounted, just the right amount of room in transom to make accessing locknuts easy....did alot of measuring to make sure I had it centered and squared....in pics it looks off but its not... DJ

Im mounting all my hardware first, then waterproof hull after hardware removal so the holes I made get waterproofed inside.

Do you have an esc for your boat? Just read that Castle Creations is discontiniung all marine esc's....just a heads up for you....
