I'm going to call BS... There is NO WAY you are really building this boat.... I see no evidence of it. That working surface and the surrounding area are WAY, WAY too clean and dust free! I don't see any scattered tools, blood drippings, shavings, wood debris, foam pieces, or anything else that would lead me to believe that any work was really taking place there!
By they way... REALLY nicely done!!Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA

What is that Leopard container doing in your work room?? Tisk, Tisk, aren't you a racer? LOL
Skinned.
Dang, this thing is H-E-A-V-Y. I overdid it with the resin and glass. It's an absolute tank. Should help it in rougher water.Nortavlag Bulc

You guys crack me up. Ray knows more about what's going on in my basement than my own wife!! Yep, a 20 and a 40 back there w/UL-1 cowl mods. Look forward to seeing you again this year, Ray. Jimmy and I can be your 'go to' guys to lift you up the drivers stand again.
The photos are taken in the 'display area'. A photo of the actual work room may cause a visit from the National institute for safety and health. :)Comment

(2) coats of primer and a LOT of sanding. This boat is going to be black, so there's not much room for error. She's ready for the first top coat.
I'm starting to agree with Ray. I may have really messed up on the motor selection for this one. Oh well, we will see how it runs. I'm drooling over some 2300/2400kV options. I know it's high, but I'd like to give it a try. The P-Sport boats ran in our club race last weekend and they were FAST!Attached FilesComment

Second coat of base and 'Holy Tomatoes!!'. I must have gotten lucky here. I've never put on a coat of paint and had it look this nice before. No wet sanding. No polishing. There's barely any orange peel. I'm learning a lot about baking paint and letting it 'flow' since I now have oven access. This was baked at about 140degrees.Comment

Finished the hatch and re-installed everything. A lot of work. Maiden run is tomorrow. I even sharpened the rudder! The infamous 'pearl' decals to follow.....
