Got it all back together and ran it yesterday. Couldn't have been more pleased.
A little slow for our club (GPS 51.3), but not bad for the maiden voyage! A season of tweaking ahead....

                  Thanks Todd.

C'mon Jimmy. You know that everyone pushes it to 54-55 in that class. Very tough competition. I will try to run the course tight on Sunday, but I don't want to scratch the paint.

If I can get 3rd with a UL-1 I think you'll be alright doing 51.3. Driving is sometimes more important than the boat.

I know what you mean Pete. It must have took you forever to get the "White Lightning" look just right!!

I honestly don't know how you did that with the UL-1 last year. Truly an accomplishment. I don't know how I came in second either. Everyone is super fast in that class. Tom's LSH whip is a little rocket. I wish I could be out there tomorrow, but it's just not gonna happen.

What battery capacity are you guys using? I found out that 4200mah caused boat to slow drastically after 6 laps (4200 Grim Racer lipos were puffed and hot after race). My cheap Tenergy 5000mah capacity helped, but they were also puffy and warm. Good higher capacity lipos are a must.

Actually I run two 4s Giant Power 2200 in parallel. Six laps, plus a mill and usually a penalty lap (me and bouys are great friends) and still have 25% left.

I have some 5000's 5300's and 6000mah packs for my LSH
I have mine propped up good so I cannot use anything less than 5000mah during a race

I run some Turnigy nano-tech 7600mah 2S 40~80C Lipo Pack in series. I don't recommend them but, they never skip a beat. Most people will not like packs that are built in 2P but, they work just fine, never get warm or swell. I use them in my PTSS because it's extra weight so I don't need to add lead.
