Im not going to use it. Like scott said above, its warping my shockwave right now. Lol. Im pecking away at it right now. I mounted a plate for my esc to be mounted on. Ill finish up my steering in a little bit.

I've got to order a bec and a couple other things. Need some wire too. Should I order 10ga or 8ga for my battery wires? The esc has 8ga but my batteries have 10ga. Is the 8ga overkill? The 10ga will be easier to bend and route and deal with. ???

Ahh, its no biggie. It is for a splitter. Had I known you were up this late,I would have text you about that. If you have some wire you can send me, let me know how much. I can only find it at kintec racing at the moment. I gotta buy a bec anyway unless you have one of those I can get from you too. Text me how much. Can I just get a bushing for a 3/16 drive and press it into the strut or do I need to drill it. Figured I might as well order those items too.

I removed the billet box. As fine as it is and as much as I like it, it was just in the wrong place for me and was going to be more of a pain in the rear than anything. I ended up putting a flat plate there instead. Because of the "v" in the hull right there, I can route wires and cooling hoses under it for a cleaner look. Got the steering done. As much as I like the mounting plate the servo is in, im thinking it may have to remove it too. Why? Well that badass looking billet servo is begging to be seen. The plate just take up too much space also. I dunno. I gotta think about it. Here's the steering and plate I mounted.

Ive got wire, new ubecs and a strut conversion if youd rather go that route. For your existing 4mm strut, you will have to remove the bearings and drill out the strut with a 1/4" drill. I explained how I do it earlier in your thread if you missed it.

The strurt conversion is made for that strudder and has a longer shaft barrel. I cant remember if its designed for the same stuffing tube or not. If you have a caliper measure the stuffing tube in the cheetah and Ill measure the strut opening. Its going to be either for 1/4m" or 7mm. Im not sure which one I have here. The conversions were offered in both sizes for 3/16 shafts. Im going to assume the builder used 7mm.

Shoot me a text when your up and going

That looks to me like it had undried foam trapped in the hull and when it got wrecked the air hit it and it expanded, not from absorbing water. Either way, Don't use that crap!

You should still throw a drive back in the shocker, maybe the kids could go bashing with it or it would

Each kid has their own boat. Im stealing all the parts off the shockwave for my bling. Im building a new recovery boat right now as a matter of fact.
