Next time just heat the ho2 tubing a little with a lighter,
And it will slip right over a bigger ID most of the time.

I made some pickup tubes like that out of old ice maker copper tubing for my Rio ep modding,
The copper is nice and easy to work with and free.

Alright, I just got a real nice tripod from my neighbor for my camera. Now hopefully I can shoot a couple decent videos, 1 on 4s & 1 on 5s if she'll hold it & the drive gears don't blow. I am planning on having the speedview app running onboard for accurate readings. Now if the weather will cooperate I'll get r' done .....

Alright, my Lil' brother is bringing his new MTB over today. I am going to load up my burley bike trailer & we're riding up to the pond. If all goes well I'll get some videos uploaded

Alright here's a first video attempt with my camera on this tripod, I have got to say this camera shoots some really nice high definition video, I like it. Here's my 2s test run.

Here's the first video of the villain, on a thunder power 3850mah 40c 4s lipo.
This thing will flat chit' & get . the first time I pulled it in was to clear seaweed from the prop cause it was cavitating. Next time I'll get a better angle with the camera so it covers the water better.

The good news is the drive gear didn't blow, it spit the set screw out of the drive gear instead. I thread locked in a new set screw, so she's ready to run......

Looks good my friend. That pond got a bit more length to it? You are going to need it for 4s.

                    Hi Shawn ,

Not too bad for a 2s run huh I shot another 4s vid right after this, but it lasted about 20 seconds before I tossed the opposite set screw as the last time . Turns out they weren't hitting the flatspots on the driveshafts right. I pulled the shafts and tapped them deeper into the u-joints w/ a hammer till they lined up. Now I have 2 bearings &'an out drive to replace ....

Idk if I need to run it on a bigger pond or not, she gets really squirrley on 4s because its a bit too much power for this hull. The gt-550's are really something. Its much quicker than a villain ex. As soon as i get it back together I'll give her another go round' ....

                        finally...,, 4s videos :)

Finally got the villain x wet for a good video on 4s

The first video us short because the batteries in the camera died, right before the dude on the segway told me rc boats aren't allowed in the park. Its not posted so I don't give a chit. I filmed a second video after changing batteries anyway..,.,

I just realized I never got my last two videos on the build thread. Well, here ya go....

as soon as i pick up some new props. I'll do a few runs on 5s lipo.
I lost a 447 thanks to an underwater rock pile. I am thinking of a set of x452's

Yeah, I was a little out of sorts yesterday. I guess I was thinking the last video that I posted was post #83, because the videos in post #86 aren't showing up for me for some reason, just the links. My bad
