Boats really flying there! Looks great on the water. For some reason I no longer get emails from OSE to keep me posted on what's posted. Been a week and I hate it! How's the turning left and right at speed? Curious as to how it does with your current setup. Let's see some full throttle turns!

OK, so I have changed a couple of things, I know, I know, should keep it to one at a time. BUT... I brought my Thunder Power 4s2p 5000mah batts out as my other 4s' were in the cat. So the TP's are a bit heavier (5000 instead of 4000) and I put them as far forward as wires would allow. Not much, just a 1/2" foam shim although these batts are longer too.
The other thing I changed was the strut being put up a tad (3/32"??). I am almost out of provision for this adjustment.
So Lenny!!! You will like this vid

Ok so how did the setup like it with the added weight ?
Temps, Speed, Was it airing out hard to see from the video.
I know on mine with just using one cell pack for my testing,
If I had the 4s 40c 5000mah pack right at the back of the motor it would air out good,
But if I moved the pack 2" 1/2 from the motor it ran good and I also gained about 5 mph to.Comment

Too much air with it back Len. Loose but fun. All temps were good. 104-108 for the batts, ESC-cool, motor-cool. I'll play with it more of course but at least this run was stable over its own wake and such. I will most likely try the strut back where it was with the TP's in.Comment

I was just glad to have gotten rid of the chopping in the corners which BTW was way to much rudder throw. Got it down to 75% now and it could go a bit more. Next run I will try some crankin lefty's for ya Jeff. I had to watch the water as they were waterskiing when I got there and that stirs all kinds of crap up off the shoreline. That is why the distant vid so I had a good view.Comment

Right on Shawn, I'll likei it .... She's a damn nice piece of work
.
I've been working over my mm today.I got the 10-32 bolts installed for hatch hardware too, that's a tedious pain in DA' butt..
I got a fancy ass tripod for my camera, if the weather cooperates, hopefully I'll get some more villain video wed-thur.
BTW, i subscribed to your YouTube channel. You can upload videos to photobucket now too. The 2 villain vids I posted are from photobucket ...Comment

Still choppy in the corners but it was windy/rough yesterday. Going fishing today so I'll take it with and see on calm water.Comment

So I did not run at the fishing spot, there were signs everywhere stating " NO POWER OR ELECTRIC BOATS" . I know they mean that hold people but it has been my finding that this does include 40+mph FE boats. So I went to this little pond on the way home. Did some lefty's for Jeff (guess I should put the other turn fin on) and the righty's can still be choppy in the corner. You should be able to see closer how it is running and don't pay any attention to the dull end(I have not found my editor yet).
