Cool, you might wanna try the Nitro SV props composites x437 I think they may be small enough for those motors, they come 2 to a pack

Nice! Seems to be running well. If you get those brushless I d like to know something. I will like to do a similar project ,but with a different boat some day. How do you put two brushless ESCs to run with only one reciever or perhaps a DSM reciever?
I'm thinking one hydra 240 should do the trick
or two smaller controllers and tie the receiver wires together
(I have not thought it all the way through yet, but I know it is possible)
the next step for me is a counter rotating shaft for one side.
the props ride half out of the water like a true surface piercing setup.
I also loved the way it sounded.
my guess is it ran around 30mph with 12cell 3300nimhs.
all my homemade parts held nicely too.
The Manx has been sitting dormant, but I think I finally have my motivation back. I hope to see it float soon.
