when I get some cash for a controller I will put twin AMMO 2600's in it
but right now I have too much debt
The Manx has been sitting dormant, but I think I finally have my motivation back. I hope to see it float soon.

I did not have much of a chance to work on the boat yesterday. I got the motor mount drilled out to accommodate the twin motors, but I still need to do a backing plate so there will be two mounting screws per motor. I am using the stock SV mount flipped around and will need to cut down the stringers to get the mount close enough to the shafts.

ok scratch the backing plate (I'll worry about that when I go brushless
now I need couplers before I can cut down the stringers to fit.

Just looking at your pic of the motors and tubes, there seems to be about a 1/4" difference betwen the motor shafts and the stuffing tubes. Thats not going to be good. Are the tubes hardmounted yet or can you still adjust them ?

The tubes are not secured yet. Avanti has just a bit of grinding to do, since there is some material there that is forcing the tubes inward.

as obrien said Doby the tubes are just loose right now.

the mad scientist was at work on some couplers

nothing is mounted yet this is just a mock up
I will most likely button it up tomorrow at some point and hopefully get a run in before Sunday.

extended the rudder with some angle

went with angle for strength I will clean it up after it runs
