Just got home. Yes it was great to catch up. Will have to organize a time at the lake soon.
You gave me a idea when you said a 115 will fit in your hull. When you finish the 223 ? I will jam my shocker up the front then I can tell everyone my cat did 100mph lol.

Got the painting done. Not perfect but should look ok on the water. Just need to wait a week before cutting and polishing. Then I need to get a few decals made up.

Looks a bit dull in the shade but should look a lot better once polished.

Is the windscreen a sticker or paint?

          The Raceway was packed tonight!
Andrews addicted, I think it looks fun but more interested in getting my boat done!

Window is paint. Will get a few stickers done up, probably just the name down the sides.
Tuesday nights are great lots of people. Bit to much like work some times lol. Hence the boats for fun.
Can't wait to see that big cat run. Just need to find a really big lake.

I am not much of a painter but finished wet sanding and polishing. Added some stickers.
Made a few mistakes but should look ok out on the water.

Thanks shawn. Hope to get it wet this weekend. Just need to put battery trays in and a bit more flotation and it is good to go.

Yes,don't forget floatation. Get as much buoyancy as possible.

After reading about what happened with yours i used heaps of flotation.
Well first test run was today. Happy to say it went well.
Struts set flat and around 31% cog. will post a screen shot later of data logger.
Top speed was 103klmh (64mph) that was on the third pass at full throttle.
So i am going to say its a consistent 60 mph boat.
here is very short vid of 2nd run on the same batteries, was having some radio issues so was being careful and only done a few short passes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8aYww...5yy2XhFwTOoNqA

well if that watt guage is correct you got room to move power wise Ozzie. Looks good on the water, making me miss mine.

My original goal was a mid 50mph sport boat so I am really happy it is in the low 60mph straight up. Amp draw is fairly low.
Some more volts or bigger props will probably be tried at some stage.
