Yea i already have motors and batteries tho they are all new. I will start with 442s and then mite mod a set of 447s. Or i mite try adding a bit of cup to the 442s.
If i can not get the speed i want i will try some 6s packs

Ok my build has started with adding a layer of cf cloth to the hull. Now i dont have the glassing skills as some of the guys on this forum and have not done any for about 3 years but i am happy with the result being i am more after strenght than looks. Cloth goes up to the top of each side and about 4 inches past front of hatch opening plus most of the way down the rear of tunnel. The hatch opening seems very thin and not sure i can get some cloth up there but i did add a layer to the hatch it self. Have some scrapy bits of cloth left over so mite chop it up really fine and drop some epoxy in the sponson tips.
Next job is transom doubler and rear of sponsons. I have some very high grade 3mm carbon fibre plate i will use for this.

What epoxy did you use Scott?
I use the west systems, it's the best I've found!

Did not really have the $$$ to spend on to much so used some normal polyester resin. Used it before and it works ok.
Geoff still has a hull i did for him 3 years ago and it has held up well so i am hoping this does as well.

Little bit more done. Poured in some z-epoxy in to transom standoff pushed in a piece of 3mm carbon fibre then poured more epoxy in so the whole standoff is solid. Added some pieces of CF to the rear of sponsons for the stingers to mount to, this area was very thin but feels really solid now.

Bit of a update. Have glued (epoxy) tbe motor mounts in place. i like to run the stuffer tube up and over the motor shaft so i can get it lined up nice.
I then cut the stuffer tube to lenght and epoxy in place with the flex going into the coupler and i run the stuffer tube out the rear a bit longer so it goes into the stinger so i know it is aligned correctly. Then i cut off any excess of the rear. Post some more pics tonight.

                You running Teflon liner?
Also how much S/tube you leave hanging out of transom?
                Any more progress?

Hey ryan. Got a bit more done. Not running teflon liner for the first time ever. I was going to run .150 flex but ordered 3/16 couplers by mistake so went with .187 flex. I odered some teflon from ose to suit but I did not realise it was out of stock and did not get it in my last order.
Stuffer tube goes about 15mm out rear of sponson.
Got the motors mounted the stingers mounted, stuffer tubes done plus water pickups and out lets. Not so pretty inside so going for a smooth outside look so under hull pickups and outlets are mounted on rear of sponsor near stinger mounts.

                    Lookin good!
In your second pic, on the right side of the hull ( well infact the left side ) but where its upside down it looks like you have 2 pick ups, on the left different?
Are you going to give it paint?
                    Doing yourself or painter?

The 2nd looking pickup is were some idiot forgot the number 1 rule. Measure twice cut once. Drilled a hole in the wrong side of sponson in a hurry before work.
Going to paint it myself nothing flash just a basic job.
