    JAE .21 Ooops...did I mess up?

Okay, so I started building the tub last night and whether I was tired or what, anyway I glued in the first two formers and rear transom and discovered a bit of twist in the tub as it has been built so far. Now I plan to purchase some angle aluminum to build the jig for the rest of the tub construction.
Will the jig help to alleviate the twist or do I need to do something else?
Also there is no info regarding the jug construction. I have to assume, and you know what that means, the jig is built to the same width as the tub is supposed to be ....which is?
I have the JAE hardware order from the guys at Zipp Kits and haven't decided on a motor yet, whether to go with the UL-1 or a Leo 3650-2290 and 4S pack. I have a Feigao motor at 4761 KV but will not use it. I also have a Sea King 90 ESC which I plan to use with which ever motor I choose.
I have the tubs partially built now and ready to add the rest of the sheeting. Otherwise everything seems to be going well.
This, along with building a 1/5 scale Piper Cub (Sig) and an Alien Aircraft Super Dragon Sea Plane is keeping busy.... sometimes it seems I'm spinning my wheels for taking on too many projects at once.
    Thanks and cheers

If you haven't glued on the bottom or top sheeting there is hope for your tub.
Did you make sure that the bulkheads and transom are square with the tub sides?
The jig is as wide as the bottom sheeting.

Here is a link to some builds that may help you.

Take your time, a straight and true JAE is a good running JAE, right off the bench.
    Good luck with the build.

Doug, thanks. I used the square provided in the kit as well as the ones I have. I remember using them when first gluing the formers to the right side but did not use them when gluing the left side on. The twist isn't really that bad just slight and I have been able to correct quit it a bit by setting the tub on a flat board and weighing it down with some old 10 cell battery packs. LOL
I'm going to buy some angle aluminum today and set up the jig....very carefully.

Got my hardware in the mail this morning! Five bucks for USPS priority.
Glad to see they're using Ed Hughey's flex drive.
Now I need to find some angle aluminum. Darn hardware stores up here are expensive places to shop at least some of them are.
Hopefully my basement will stay dry now and I can finish up the boat and other projects I've had on hold.
