Spent some time with turn fin mount.... mount is linearly adjustable underhull... fin adjustable linearly on mount.
Due the counter rotating props, Im not yet sure on best position for cog..the props will help raise the rear, so a cog adjust may be needed with a turn fin movement to suit.
Allows option of 1.25" centers behind sponson transom to 4" \_|
Ive had twins with props this close before( nitro and same rotation ).. opposing spin here will introduce different lift/thrust kinetics... planning ahead for ride changes.

Thanks to all comments.... it's interesting to build the first of a genre !

@Richie.. it's the adult aged kids who scare easy ! ...
and the turn fin will likely fillet fish quicker than John West ! hahaha

@JC .. yeah, for sure .. there's clowns out there panting for footage+gps already !

Waiting for cowl .. probably 7-10 days ..
        Still plenty to do here...
esc mounts --- water tubes --- external safety loop ( mandatory in Au Assoc .. seriously you're a fool without one ) --- battery straps --

        a boat stand !.. that's an idea !

        umm
already laminated Cf onto side ply walls ,but was camera shy ..
already poured 16Oz/600ml ( when expanded ) of 2pak foam into the nose cones for strength... and poked pool noodles in as well.

11pm here.. time for a throat lubricant !
        adieu

@srislash.. it's only 40" long, mate ....and barely space to squeeze in the needed go-hard gear .. !
The cowl will be a concern for scale, but I trust the epoxyman to produce something admirable .
Im sure these hulls will be avail for sale once the build is finished

I do plan ( at this point ) to finish this as per the photo at bottom .

Parma Hemi ? for scale there's plenty blown V8 replicas in this size ( do they float ?? )

A beast or Monster ?.. water trials will tell !

Ooh yeah, the breakage! Definitely have to have a sport mode option for cruising the scale look.

I'm curious about a turn fin. This is a drag boat for going in str8 line? Do they need turn fins to keep str8? Just curious.... Looks cool so far

                              @Srislash .. no probs, m8

Fin can be removed if/when this heads to SAW.
Wont need it for str8 runs, the CR props will oppose each other thus no prop steer !
Will need a fin for oval racing, though.. to hold in corners..

However, full size have turn fins for str8 line stability. see below

                              thanks to photographer (name?).
