I couldn't wait, had to take out the HPR for a test run, so got my girl to film for me....here is how she went. Had a bit of CG corrections to make, but after I was happy with the result. Sadly it was very windy so couldn't open her up. 1367kv on 6s and CNC 448 prop... and 80mph thats a good start I guess.

@ Richie, scratch builds are not for me. I would have no idea where to start Lol. I build these here for the creativity and the fun of running them. I also like the idea of carbon fibre parts, and offering them to others if they work well.

@ Doc, I'm all for the bigger water and see this baby can do. (To a degree) she's already fast and very aggressive, cry's for a bigger lake. As for the other one, you'll have to wait until I rebuild her, she didn't like the "mile high club" few cracks and chunks flew off. Almost repaired now. I have no regrets as it was awesome!!!

@ Manuel, thanks for the tips on adjustments, I would have been playing for a long time if it wasn't for you. She's a heavy girl at 7.04kg (thats with minimum running gear) so not exactly easy to deal with. Obviously very important where everything is placed!!!

Over all I was pleased with today's run, she still takes in a little water so have to sort that one out. Hopefully next run will be on a calm day with only slight ripples.

Hello, Have not done a great deal of work but have cut a few sleds for the lipo's so I can try different combinations. I have just enough lipo's to get 8s NanoT 60c per side at 3850mah that should work for a few minutes.
Once again thanks to Manuel for the mechanical parts.

C5009 are so cool looking!! My advice is only, take your time to mesure and drill once. Make a template for everything you do, and repeat on the other side.

I will try to do a good job...
I have plans to build it with a unique theme... More to follow on that but as it evolves, it will come together and I only hope I do a good job! :-/ I just have to wait a while now... :-(

                    Hello Everyone,
Its been quiet on the thread for a little, lots to do, but never mind. Recieved a set of 447 S/B by Andy Brown for 6s & 8s setup, also recieved 447 S/B backcut to 44.5 and tongues removed for delta 5s & 6s setup.

                          Hello folks,
Build/funtime have been slow as I have been very busy at work including weekends. So no lake time to test either. I have upgraded the ESC's to YGE 160 HV so that I have a set of HV controllers (I feel better running 8s with those) . Finally got ESC's for the MHZ138 aswell CC Hydra 200HV. Getting both boats ready for the cooler months here in AusLand.
