Good info, Little late for me to change, getting that motor in there with the speed controller was quite a feat for a guy that has size 14 ring finger, and cant see close up any more, lol in the amount of time getting all the gear rigged in this hull I could have built 6 526cid promod race engines.

In my testing, I have prefered the 15271D over the 0.5Y. The 0.5Y seems very inefficient especially at partial throttle which is hard on controllers.

Hello
just 2 questions: would a Leo 40 series motor fit in? I guess yes but better to double check...
and what amp draw do you expect and what esc do you plan to use?
tx
I have never use or have any experience with Leo motors, I allways run NEU motors, I used the 1527 .5Y comp motor for this build, I used a castle 240 amp SC and plan on 5S, and 6S power. Expecting to see 250amp average
