    I'll second that!

It's a pain as there are no boat stuff available locally. I have to order and wait for my ups/FedEx guy. Waiting for the new receiver, didn't want to rob it out of the truck! I'll install the eagle tree sensors at the same time.

    MORE QUESTIONS
Do I need to glue in the flotation, or just stuff it? using the smaller diameter pool noodles, they fit three across and part way down each side next to the 6s packs.

Is it ok to run the props uncut, just sharpened and balanced?
A lot of people on this end waiting for it to run too!

    Thanks

Just make sure you stuff it good so it will not just fall out of it in a flip or something.

And S&B on the prop is fine.

Think and take your time on this first launch into the deep blue.

Finally have everything I need to complete project. Received the new receiver, speed grease, eagle tree temp and rpm sensors. Water test in the morning, probably have to wait for run first of week in the evening. Trying to coordinate with my friend up the street to video first runs. Too cold tomorrow am and have plans for the evening. Ready to run this baby. Hired graphics guy, Artgrunt graphics to prep the " miss Almond Joy" graphics and large broken open candy for the deck. Kind of expensive, but what another couple hundred when you already have 15c in the build. Really happy with the outcome assuming I don't blow it up the first run. I'll keep you all posted and old video when it runs. Already looking to order the aero marine sprint cat once this one runs. Planning on same setup, for it..

          Almost there!

Ok been terribly busy, but water test showed that I should have used sealant on EVERY bolt and fixture. Finally got every thing sealed and test ran the electronics with the data logger. Add flotation to hatch and she is going in the lake.

Thanks Dana. Used paper towel to check for moisture found seepage at the bolt holes.
Will final seal the leaks Saturday. Supposed to rain here Sat plan on running Sunday.

Whatever works:). The finishing touches and details have taken forever! Pirate has been in the Jacuzzi 3 times only to isolate another water seepage. The next build I'll seal everything as it is assembled. Water sure goes through some small places. Bolts threaded into fiberglass and still seep. Amazing.
The Eagle tree is an amazing device. Recording everything as I tested the electronics. Glad I bought the device.

I simply use epoxy drips on the bolts between the hardware and transom as I tighten them up.............works great.

Final "build pictures" ,She goes on the lake tomorrow

OK, final "build photos, weather permitting tomorrow she'll be on the lake.
I have learned a bunch from everyone and the next build will be easier for sure.
I just hope I learned enough for a successful first run tomorrow.

Looks great. This may seem like nit-picking but its not..............i use every bit of advantage I can in a boat to get top performance/reliability, and I would un-bundle the motor/ESC wires and actually spread them apart a bit. This will allow better heat disapation and will not allow the hot bullets to get the heatshrink to soften and stick together as well............it will happen.

Good luck on the maiden..................looks like she's ready to go!

And I was running my boats in the rain and after it to.

                            It's all good for me.

Yeh, I wondered about that and figured if it was an issue someone would mention it. I'll separate them before I run it.
                                Thanks for the input.
