I have been eyeing this cool little hull since it came out, I have always had a secret hankerin' for a fast little guy like this.

Got it from OSE and it came packaged very well, upon inspection the boat is very well made and the hatch fits perfectly. It will be an easy tape job too!

I have some items ready for it and still have the hardware on the way.

This dude is not going to be lacking in the power area.................my very premature guess would be in the low 40's.

I havent seen any action on this hull so I thought I'd be the Guinea Pig............

The DF hulls are deff better made & worth the extra money over the various knock off hulls, what size & kv is the Leopard your using.

Its one of the Gold Can Turnigy's that i like so well, they are discontinued now, 3656 2700kv or 1800kv. I cant decide which as i really dont like the odd size cell count and 3s seems logical for the 2700. I may go 4s with two 3600 2s batts to balance it out, x438 is the prop i bought for it.

This is the best configured 3s setup i can come up with. The battery is a modest 4000 3s and it would be tuff to get out.

Anyway, I decided on using the 2700kv 540L and 3s2p. I found a Lipo from Zippy that is a compact "space saver" size. I'll be running two 2700 3s 35c lipos in parallel which will give me 5400mah 35c and 189 constant amps. They are very compact and will fit nicely along each side of the motor for fore and aft movement to help balance the boat out.

Tuff job putting those little nuts on the inside of the transom with my big fingers..............sheesh, may not do another small one after this guy.

I went with a pinstripe around the seam and will clear over it and the original red color, the clear with some pearl in it will look real good i think and gloss the boat up.

The wide angle lens on the camera makes the stinger look almost as long as the hull What kind of speed are you thinking will come from this combo?

But on your hatch I thought something was missing, Than I looked on Ose store.
The ram air scoops are missing.

Yeah, the angle and how close i was for the picture makes the stinger look huge! I expect it to hit low 40's.

I tend to sway back and forth, I like real big, then I go small..........then back.

I got the two 3s Zippy lipos in, 2700 35c to run in parallel for 5400mah and 189 constant amps(plenty). These are the compact line from Zippy, indeed very thin and fit great alongside the motor for maximum adjustment. The blue Turnigy in the photo is a 3s 4000 for comparison.

I also had to go with a smaller servo, Just out of habit I ordered a Traxxas waterproof 2056 and with the mount it wont fit, this is my first "Mini" hull so I learned something new. I got the waterproof Traxxas mini servo which has as much torque as a standard size Futaba 3003 servo...........the little guy packs a punch.

I made my own mount out of aluminum 'U' stock and hold the servo to it with a ziptie. Got all the hardware on now as well....................NO room left on the transom to put anything even if i wanted to.

I built and sold mine and I will build another.

I was reading but, I didn't find what motor you are using in there???
