Sorry if I missed it, but what was the texalium for? Did you end up using it?

You'll be just fine with the 4074 motor. I run the 2200kv, T180 and 10000mah 30c zippys with a M445 or X645 in mine. I race it and it has worked well now for several yrs. temps @ 5min around 115*
I get a kick outta how some of you know so much...LOL

So you got me thinking... I'm gonna try the 4092 in my Titan 33. This should give an idea how it should perform in your df33.
I am suspecting my temps issues were due to poor handling. I am curious to see how this motor compares.

Kong what speeds are you at with that set up?

              I've never GPS'ed it, but I'd say around 50mph

It's looking nice Graeme....give me a call when you are setting it on it's maiden voyage, as I should be able to pick up a few set-up pointers for when I do mine.

                      well here it is.
I had to adjust the trim tabs to settle it down.
This is with a 443 motor temps were 82 esc 100-110
next I will try a x645 and this thing will really rip

Love it, looks beautiful and runs awsome! may I ask where you got your rudder? Is the stinger a Speedmaster? I am gearing up for my first build.

The Stinger and rudder are both Speedmaster.
They came with the hull when I bought it so I am unsure where they came from.
