    Ray,

    Longer drives/struts will minimize blowovers and having the rudder behind the props is giving better steering.

        i decide to replace my tenshock viper 2250 2600kv (2500watt) motors with TPs...
        4050L 2350kv (3600watt) on 5s and sometimes on 6s





        i look forward to try TPs...

            i have seen many hpr with the same setup, 70-80mph is the goal. Hope for a good result.

              I see TP is putting bearing on outside of front plate now, interesting... Easier for bearing replacement...

                I ran mine on sunday (same hull) with 2 leopard 3674s (1700kv) on 5s with 442s. First test run i did 4 passes just to test and each pass hit between 63 and 64mph.
                This is a sport boat setup so I am sure yours will have no trouble getting 70-80mph.

                  Nice lookin boat, I have several 40xx tp motors, all good only problem I ever had was wrap on rotor let loose. But I believe that was from stressing the motor past its operational limits. Kept them under 40k and have never had issues.

                                Your TP4050L is 2350kv .we special make it.and also we can make 2450KV ,but all KV will be up and down at 3%
                                Accturlly the Max Power is over 4200W .
                                The 3800W on the website is data we just show in website.

                                TP4050L Brushless motor is an update one for TP4050 in 2012 .
                                From 2013 Augest , TP will update the motor can as one set.
                                the outlooking size will be changed from 40*82mm to 39.5*76mm
