      Hello group.
My name is not important... because Im hopelessly addicted with no chance or rehab..
Im so hopeless that I had another fix on the weekend.
I was dry all week, but on Sunday I couldnt resist, and had a good fix down by the local lake.
      Damn it felt good !

is it bad for me if I feel good afterwards ?
If I crash hard , I recover and go again.. craving that ultimate speed fix(crash?).
      See, no addiction here !
      haha

All in all this hobby is cheap in comparison to,uh let's say other vices. And as a bonus we can share experiences and thoughts with others like ourselves from around the globe.

And don't worry Doc, It is OK to feel good

Sorry to hear that you have a cooling problem man.

Try to make the inlets of the waterpickup like this and it should be much better already.
(I searched from a pic of the tube of how its installed in your boat but could not find one?)

          Grtz,
          Remmie

            It's called group therapy.
For some, the camaraderie of therapy creates the addiction !

@Remmie81 . that's what Kent is missing... .. a large feed in . top job finding the pic.

ok, before Kent needs any more therapy, this is what the new pickup cut looks like.
For those who do this on a regular basis should know if this is right and would work?
Of cause if it dont work, I have a hard task infront of me removing the setup and install the factory square ones.

That looks good, the only thing I think could spoil the waterflow is the angle of the pipe.
It should point forwards (seen from the back). So it really scoops up the water.
Im looking for the right picture to show you but the site were the picture is located is down at the moment.

Can you post a picture from the pipe on the innerside of the boat?

Remmie, the pipe is almost at 90 degrees to the ridepad. I have doupts it will work myself LOL although the metal pickups I have on the other hull has a 85 degree os so. Honestly time will tell at the next run.....grrrrrr to long till the weekend!!!!

If it doesnt work you could go this way, this is the way its done in Europe most of the time with the cats:
(this example is showing it with a V hull but it works for a cat as well ;-) )

Hold them in place with tape and glue them in:

Grind them flat with the bottom:

And here the result on the innerside, almost against the transom:

Or when you bend them a little bit more into U-shape it will look like this in the hull:

I know for sure that if you would do it like this the bottom will not look so bad , but this V-hull needed adjustments really bad in order to run the hull loose (hence the shortening of the strakes)
