    Bullwink's EKOS twin

Hey guys, starting a thread here for this build. This hull belongs to forum member "Bullwink".
I built an EKOS that got a some attention last year and I'm excited to be doing this one for Kerry now. My building skill have improved substantially since I built the last EKOS, so I'm looking forward to building what will quite possibly be the nicest EKOS in existance.

    This cat will be getting:

~ Carbon fiber inlay to strengthen the hull

~ KB Carbon fiber motor mounts

~ KB Carbon fiber servo mount w/low pro servo

~ KB Carbon fiber ESC cover plate

    ~ Twin Fightercat 3126/2200kv outrunners

    ~ Twin Swordfish 120A ESCs

    * If you're interested in purchasing any of the custom parts I make, feel free to PM me. I will have a website up shortly, but I'm busy with boats at the moment.

Here are a couple pics of the hull. It has been sanded and is ready for carbon fiber.
There are holes drilled in these from the factory, but after they are filled (if they aren't going to be used) they won't be a problem

Is it done yet? Is it done yet? Just kidding. It will be cool to watch the build progress here.

          Shazam!

The king of shaves has carbon fiber. Carbon fiber quality inside a hull is one of the most difficult things to capture in photos. It looks great in person, hopefully it shows in the pics:

I wanted to post a couple update pics. I've been busy the last couple days and haven't taken the time to get some pics, so here are a few....

These motor mounts are a bit different than normal. The smaller outrunners like these vent from the front, so I put holes in the mounts to match the holes in the motors

Here's a pic of the motor mount in the hull. This is just a mock up before final fitment:

Kerry I have red anodized and stainless steel hardware too...I can't imagine the red would work well in a blue boat but let me know if you want me to switch it out...stainless would look nice too.
