It would be great to see a pic of it with fan and water cooling. Seems you would now be trying to cool the resin block it was put in to.

How on earth do you wanna cool components which are completely "drowned" in a
thick layer op resin ??????????
IMO a simple heatsink wrap around the naked esc, with a fan on 1 side would have been more effective.Comment

Gerwin, my thoughts exactly. Doing more harm than good for that ESC kereping all the heat in.Comment

I think Tom (SJFE) had just fried an HM200A ESC because it had gotten wet, just before he decided to do this. I think he may have been more concerned about waterproofing than heat dissipation. I think the DP270 will transfer some heat, but probably not enough to offset the heat that is retained. I would think the epoxy would weigh more than the ESC as well.SoCal Fast Electrics|H&M Drifter S-CC1512/4S/T180A|Aeromarine Scorpion 32"- UL-1/4S/HM200A|Insane 34- CC1515 1Y/4S2P/T180A|BK Bandit S-CC1515 1Y/4S2P/T180A|Insane FE30 UL-1/4S/ETTI 150Comment
