447 props but even with those, I think you need very high rpm to get any ware, maybe my 450/3 will do nicely, Wayne mentioned to look at the timing on the esc's. Hopefully then we pull out some more guts. The pond is getting small though.

You know, that's what I feel with mine(447's detounged).Which is why I now have 645's and 648's.I think a little pitch might load it up a bit. When I get my shafts I'm gonna put the Eagle Tree on one motor and see what it draws. The 1717's should be able to pull more than my 4082's.

Well, didn't put the eagle tree on, but after yesterday's event I put the batteries on the charger this morning. What tha' 4.03 highest 4.01 lowest. Didn't take up anything to run 60 od mph. Everything cold though. Next run should be good though.

I'd be willing to bet those 1717's will push Ben's 1.8 pitch 50mm+ props.Just food for thought.

Kent has a great deal of pride installed into this boat ... so when asked to pilot the first runs, I drove a conservative prop.
When confident all is ready for WOT, we'll open her up.
A few little issues were noted yesterday .. one could've ended this thread sadly if it occurred at WOT... that's why have 'test runs' !

We've a selection of props to trial here.. the 447 were entree.

Well said Wayne, WOT was the last thing you would want when all of a sudden out of range!!! I would have asked you all nicely to come and help pick up the pieces
