Jim why glass the outside of the bottom and not just the inside??

because all the bottom and the running surfaces are light ply which is too soft for my liking.
Remember this is the Prototype hull and there were changes to the kits that are available now. The kits now have all plywood ont he bottom and the running surfaces which will be much better in m opinion

Reinforced an area of the cowl, made the mounting base for the fake motor and also made the headrest and glued it to the tail today no time for pictures but will try to ad some tomorrow

All exterior is now covered in fiberglass except the deck which needs a little more over a couple of seams things should progress more quickly when I am totally done with the fiberglassing.

I'd say put it at the back, I had a hard time putting th packs in my hydro and had to set them beside the motor, still trying to figure out how to move the CG forward.
or use a wire drive at the front.
