I don't use straps in my P-Limited set ups. I simply by Velcro brand that already has the adhesive on the straps. One side in the boat the other side on the batteries...

Mike, how wide is the hull on the inside where the batteries go and how deep is it in the battery location??

I will try and get you some measurements. I can easily fit two 2S packs side by side. Also on the 4S packs, you can get those with in 1"-2" of the front of the inner tub and still get the canopy on.

Hey Mike, do you have a pictue of the over all layout of your boat top view?
I need to get some batteries and a charger this winter to set one up with the UL1 motor and esc. What do you recomend? i see a duratrax 245 that has dual battery charge
How deep would the engine well front have to be to fit those larger batteries? i may do some work on the hull so it is easier to fit motor and batteries.
