Mike and Mojo - I presume if I look at the bottom of your hulls the bolt heads that secure the mount to the floor will be visible?

Jim - I saw Mike's boat and this is true. The bolt heads are visible from the bottom.

Yes you can run 2-4000 or 2- 5000mah . I have them in mine and its fine. 14.8 volts - 442 prop 59mph , 445 prop 64 mph and 18.5 volts will pull 70-71mph no problem.
PT-45, 109mph, finally gave up after last bad crash
        H&M 1/8 Miss Bud 73 mph
        Chris Craft 16 mph

          Thanks for the info...

Thanks...Shooter - that explains how I would attach a motor mount like this one firmly to the hull.
Gary - Good to hear the 4S batts will fit under the top. Are yours Thunder Power 45C?

Next question: Is there anything wrong with adding a Y connector inside the hull and routing one water line to the motor and the other one to the ESC and either using two water outlet fittings or another Y for a single water exhaust?

Thank you, Ray...the shunting to the shorter line makes sense. Do ALL you folks agree on whether to run cooling through the motor first and then through the ESC or vice versa? Or is this one of those endless debatable questions? I remember when I built my first electric I asked whether the (+) side should be the Male pin or the Female? I think it came down to, "Do it however your club does it so you could swap components - just be consistent." Sorry to have gotten off track there...

Most people run cooling lines thru the ESC first, then thru the motor, and out lefthand side of hull for visual flow.
