Hi Turbo Buick, I bought your Shockwave 36 on eBay a couple of months ago. I was new to RC Boating then but now have about 12 boats if you can believe it. (This really is a freakin addiction) Your Shockwave was running great until this past weekend when I forgot you had said the esc was good for 5S. I ran 6S with a balanced and sharpened x447. It jumped out of the water and was really hauling around our pond here in Scottsdale for about 3 minutes when Poof, the esc went up in flames. (My bad). I took the motor out and put it in a Thundercat 31 build I am doing. I will be putting a new motor and esc back in the Shockwave soon and have her back out.

That's awesome that you got her going good and glad you found this thread. with that KV of motor and 6S that thing had to be a water missile and pulling some serious amps. I was kinda shocked that the 4074 was able to move it around as well as it did as that thing was a tank. I'm curious to see what the TC31 would do with that kinda set up. Take it easy ScottComment
