Why 2 rudders? Just personal preference?
Yea, the 2 rudders are just because it's a setup I always wanted to do.

5.5 will be fine. Personally, I use 6mm on everything, and have lots of them, so I'd do 6mm, just to avoid buying new ones.
Oh ok, My mistake on the size. 5.5mm it is then.

Thank you, thank you.... It's my 1st scratch build. The bot is 38 inches long and about 12-1/2" at the widest point. I found the plans online, but the plans were originally for a 30" boat.. I just had them blown up to this size.

Hey guys, I'm lost here. .I got my 9/32" Brass tubes along with the .187 teflon liner. Now, is the brass tube supposed to fit inside the strut? if it just up against the strut, what keeps it there besides maybe some heat shrink tubing and glue? I have the pics to show what I mean.IMAG0743.jpg. I also ordered the prop hardware, left hand and right hand lay cables with prop shaft from Jeff Wohlt. He says the Flex Cables come with the standard 3/16"x 2.25" Shaft. Now my struts are just 2" long. are those cables gonna work? I just feel like I bought the wrong stuff.. I'm just lost!!!!!! Please help!
