Oh and there is no getting lazy when building a boat. When you get lazy, you quit and put it away until your 100% again.Thats why some of my builds take so long.

Update,,, i got the water pickups done, i cut them flush with the hull then grinded a little teardrop in the front of each one like the store bault flushmount ones its hard to see in the pics,, and i drilled and installed the two water outlets and installed the two new S/B/P x442 props so its almost ready, hope to run it maybe this weekend!!!Comment

Looks good! Question have you noticed any difference in running the props how you have them on? Most counter rotational setups I've seen the props turn inwards to the hull. I'm not sure if it really matters or not tho.Land, Sea & Air, A true RC Addict.Comment

I like the water pickup idea too. I bought some Octura streamline pickups for my project. I was thinking on using those maybe recessed a little in the hull so not as much sticks out the bottom. But I won't know till I get them as I havent layed eyes on them yet.Land, Sea & Air, A true RC Addict.Comment

Im sure someone with more experience can say for sure. But from what I know and all Ive ever seen they always turn into the center of the hull. And Ive looked at many different setups trying to get ideas I like to incorporate into things I want to do.
But for your first twin build your doing a nice job Jerry. I bought one of these hulls earlier this year and got some stuff for it. But I havent built it. Saving it for winter project. Plus Ive always modified existing stuff. Never built something from a bare hull. So I decided to buy a 32" fiberglass cat hull and build a twin out of it as my first ever bare hull build. That way the CF one isnt the virgin lol.
BTW what made you choose cable over wire drives?Land, Sea & Air, A true RC Addict.Comment

My HPR runs better w/ them running out. Right on right and left on left. I ran both ways on the HOTR and it didnt seem like there was a difference. But yes, the majority of the time they spin in. Left on the right and right on the left.
Youre doing a fine job Jerry.Comment

Papa, you only live once. And theres nothing like the sound of spinning two wheels... Like Nike, Just do it!Comment

The wife was kind enough to let me spend what I did on the boat since I still plan to get fuel injection for the blower motor that's going in my 1:1 Bronco this winter.Comment

Just sell stuff you don't use anymore to offset the cost of new stuff :).
Or just say screw it and order it if you know you can afford it and still pay the bills. And take your lady out and treat her nice from time to time too. It's a fun juggling act I tell yaLand, Sea & Air, A true RC Addict.Comment
