HJ's First Twin Cat Build ''CF Daytona''

OK guys i got one of the first Fightercat Carbon Fiber Daytona hulls and ive been sitting on it for a long while,, cuz im scared to try to build it but got up some gutts and started ordering parts and doing alittle work to it so im sure this will be a long build thread and ill have lots of questions for you guys!!!!! So BAIR WITH ME !!!
So when i got the hull it needed to be sealed inside you will see from the first pics, so i used some West Marine Systems and coated the inside of the hull,,looks way better too...stay tuned for more fun!!!

Pics of the after i coated the hull,,i was going to lay some cf cloth inside but i realy didnt enjoy doing it on another of my boats so just did thick west systems,,i mixed the two part system and brushed it inside, i was going to blot it in but figured it could use the extra!!!! More to come!!!

          The setup will be,
          2x Feigao 9xl Motors
          2x ETTI 150a ESC's
          2x 5s 5000 lipos i think?

Yeah but im a logo guy i love um,, but wright now ill leave it and maybe in time ill pullum off,, well heres the parts i have so far,,, i cant afford peoples high dollar battery trays so i cut my own, in the lower left of the pic,, ill do more to them to get them wright and i took the cf off the bottom of the motor mounts and cut some aluminum plates and bolted them on..

The motor mounts are from Fightercat's store they are the large water cooled ones for the Daytona hulls suppose to be ready to drop in but thet are alittle big if you ask me,,stand so tall i can bairly get the cooling lines on it so i will be getting some 90 degree nipples to go on them..

Very nice, Jerry. Just take your time. I'm confident she will come out real nice!

be sure to scuff that CF plate really well before you epoxy them into place. They will hold much better that way.

Get the most crucial parts in first, such as the motors, stingers, and rudders, they are probably the only things that have to go in one spot and one spot only, then move around everything else
