Alright, so the whole thrust/steer section is complete. Now its just a matter of building the foam hull. The hard/time consuming part is done.

      Here's a quick video.

Ok, so I'm about to start on the hull since everything else is done. Should I make it a flat bottom air boat looking hull, or would it be beneficial to give it a slight vee profile?

depends how slippy you want the boat, you will definitely need to taper the edges so they do not catch, it you want to do that along the whole hull or if you want a flat bottom with rounded edges is up to you. A vee'd design will/should not slip as much.

Now that I think about it, I'll go flat with tapered edges so I can run it on pavement as well. Gonna put some replaceable low friction plastic rails on the bottom for wear.

will they come off in the water? if so, that'll be tough to keep watertight yet aerodynamic

I'll profile them to the hull, will leave them on and round off the edges. Meh, we'll see. lol.

I guess if it's not going insanely fast a little drag doesn't matter.
