    PT-SS21 Hydro

    Ready to rock! however before Maiden voyage this weekend feel free give me comments to help point out any errors or to improve further

      I also have this hull and it looks like your center of gravity may be too far forward. If your prop appears to hop out of the water try adding more weight to the stern of boat. Nice looking boat BTW.

                To be honest this is my first hydro. I have no idea, no clue, no sugar on what to expect on my maiden.

                I was hoping you could give me some advice you do own a PTSS45 i see that. I am dishing out everything so some good folks over here will be kind to offer me valuable tips.

                My reference is based on detox's sucess PTSS21 bulid thread. i think everything is in there if needed to seek.

                    Have you checked to see where the CG is? probably a good starting point is about 3/4 to 1 inch behind the sponson

                      On Phils hull he recommends 14 inches from transom. That is about 2 1/2 or 3 inches from rear of ride pad on sponson.

                      There is a fine line between too wet or too flighty. It is not hard to figure out... just shift your weight to correct. In my case I just move the 6volt receiver pack or lipos forward or backward.
