Delta Force Vortex 24" build.

Just recevied a Delts Force Vortex 24" today and man what a nice hull to start with.
I'm looking for advice on the build(motor and rudder placement). I'm going to decommission my OSE Raider for the hardware motor and electrics. The motor is a gold aquacraft 2300 kv? and the esc is the 60amp aquacraft.
I know its not going to break any speed records but the funfactor will be there, cant wait to see how this hull will perform.

I have a 22" and now a 24" DFVortex The 22 has a Feigao 540 6xl running a 3s2p w/ 640 prop that is doing 50+ mph almost to much for the boat but fun.
The 24 setup will be running a Leopard 4082 running a 4s2s w/ a CASTLE Hydra Ice 200 and the plan is to run props from 640-645 which should give me 65mph.
The system calculator on OSE is real cool and helpful.

24" DF Vortex

My 22 is running 2871kv. I run it for about 7min. I do a cool down lap after a few speed laps and have never gotten HOT. I also ran with my Eagle Tree E-Logger and the report was a bit shocking. 48.9 MPH in somewhat poor contitions 164 amps @23K RPM pushing the limits of my 180amp esc I think I can get just over 50 mph but thats about it with the motor.
My 24 is red also, I painted the cowling area to the nose white this morning and am ready to install my strut and rudder brkts. Still waiting for the motor ,MMM and prop

What exactly do you mean by cool down lap?

Thats what I call it, letting the water smooth out for a couple of hot passes since the boat is on ragged edge.

Runs nice! might want to move the CG a bit farther forward.

Your right Boaterguy, there is a second video on the Hansen Dam Violators dock talk fourm and it is obvious that it needs the cg a little further forward(starts to dance). It was a great first run besides breaking the antenna on the tx which cut my range to about 200', I'm impressed with this hull after abandoning the ose raider 24"(I just could not figure that one out).

Looks like it has lots of power, great job! I have my CG at 1/2"- 3/4" behind the sponson and it handles great.

What are you guys running for a speed control. I have a hydra ice 240 I was considering using but its rather large. I am going to run 4s2s and need something to support that. I am on hold with this build till I get my water jacket from OSE.
