yeah thats what i have on there now and have had the best luck with, i sharpened and balanced it, and picked up some speed, highest gps was 57, but i threw that one out as most my other readings have been right on 55, although i have noticed the boat actually gets faster after a few passes, i guess it needs to build heat to really put out the most watts?? water is pretty darn cold, my motor and esc are barely breaking 80-90f after full runs, lol

nice keith, yeah i did order another T180 with the vanquish, think i'm gonna start with a 1717 or a 4082 on 6s, then eventually put that setup in my apparition and go for a big power system like yours in the big mono!! thinking 9s is what i want for it.

Hey mcdaniel, are you running 6s1p or 2p in your 33" where is your cog at? i'm still trying to figure out the whole cog thing, not too mention all these trim tabs! lol me pull trigger and turn wheel go fast hahaha I have to buy a power analyzer, cause the turnigy watt meter is junk! but i cant afford a full eagle tree system right now, is there any other less expensive, easy to use data loggers out there???

well i took the boat out for a couple runs today, it runs excellent, 55mph consistantly give or take, motor and esc stsay very cool, 80-90f. the only negative seems to be the batteries and the connectors between esc and motor, the batts get about 115 after a 3-5min run, and the escmotor wire connectors got at the hottest 140f!! Soldering job is good, so i think switching them to 8mm bullets is the only way to go (5.5 now), even though my batts get 115, the connectors on them are only 100f.

I would estimate its pulling around 150 amps, because with the m447 i got a reading of 139 on the turnigy watts meter, but when i switched to x645 the watts meter blew (its rated 130a) I need to buy a good data logger, or something capable of reading amp draw, thats all i really care about, but i see even the eagle trees are only rated to 150amps?? so what are guys using who are pulling more?

                    btw i'm using a pair of zippy 3s 5000mah 30c in series for 6s1p, will adding 2 more for 6s2p increase my c rating??? i think so,am i right??

Adding 2 in parallel will get you 6s2p. Adding them in series like you have will get you 12s1p. The c rating will not increase, but your amp supply will go from 150 (30x5000) to 300 (30x10,000)

yes i know how to wire them for 6s2p vs 12s1p, lol. As for the c rating, isn't that the rate of which the batteries are capable of supplying the amps? so in theory running in parralel the batts would turn in to 3s 60c 10,000 mah wouldn't they??? by doing this i would have to think my motor would benefit in power by be able to draw more current, but on the downside i could possibly draw too much and fry the esc?? I just feel so strongly that this setup is capable of more than 55mph, especially afetr seeing other guys saying there getting more??
