Aeromarine Cyclone Cat Build
Well I progressed a little further. I have added additional dense foam at the bottom of the hull on either side. I am in the Auto industry, so I have access to the foam the they use to ship windshields in. which surrounds the glass. It is extremely dense and boyuant.
Next I built two battery trays. I joined a 12" and a 6" piece of 1.5mm C/F. I reinforced them from the bottom, with C/F 1/4" square tubing, and epoxied it all together. They fit perfectly on both sides of the hull, and allow me to move my CG, quite a bit.
Before I epoxy the trays in place, I will add Velcro staps for added security, so the batteries don't go flying around, in the event of a crash..
Until next time.
PS, I have been watching the rest of you do your thing. You guys are really amazing, creative and talented.
I tried to post pic's, but having trouble.
