Me, i just do a basic balance and sharping. To sharpen the prop i take 220 sandpaper and cover a small piece of wood and staple it down, wet and sharpen. Thats it nothing special.

Howard, how long do you think the motor in your 32 and Genesis will last on HV? I might have to try this myself.

You might have better luck going with a x6 series prop instead of the larger prather. Either that or try cupping the prop you have. The 235 might work ok too, I dunno. It seems like the bigger diameter you go the more of a problem you are going to have keeping it planted though.

Looks pretty hot in the vid. Can you imagine turning at that speed?lol

I never run the stock motor in my genesis, from new it has had the same 4082. I cant tell you how many min's or hour but a lot. If you want the motor to last then run it on 8s and you will have no problem. 9s is pushing it a little but setup right it will last.

Okay its nothing to take serious just did it to show u dont have to be a genius to do a fairly clean install and drum up some positive convo about boats. After Im done with it in sure I will put all the really good stuff in my scale and give the prather to my 9 year old keep burning water im still waiting for that 90 but honestly we all know you going to hit it.
See it funny how the tables turn now youre someone to get advice from im afraid just about everyone on ose would be in the crazy house if they didnt have a boat to build. Ose is one of the wildest forums you will find but its some smart people on here . Like I said before Its not what you say its how you say it. If we can all be respectful we can all make it to where we want to go.

A pot and a kettle come to mind.
Stop trying to drum up B.S., T.P.
                  Howards boat rips!
I asked questions at the start of the thread. Once he stated his actual goal for the build, and his intentions, and I knew he was fully aware of what he was doing, I got it.

Like I said, the setup is quite capable.
And like Total implied, A little bit of the right kind of prop work will do wonders!

One thing to remember after you hit 90 you should be able to take your 12 ga and blow the boat away and not be affected .Taking it to seriously takes all the fun out for me. I think half of these manufacturers lie anyway I mean think about it "200 amps" through 8 ga wire. Ive 20 years experience in car stereo and I dont care what The "experts say" theres some bulls..t there so why we argue about things ill never know. None of these companies are sponsering me so screw em im not standing behind any of this crap with my name coz I didnt build it. Keep boiling water and teaching us such as myself with less knowledge

                    have a good one howard!

Well done Howard...That's off the hook mate.....Here i was thinking my hotr 32" was fast at 112kph but your is just amazing dude...From what i can see in the vid the hull sit's very flat on the water you might want to mod the hull a bit underneath to give it a bit of lift so it becomes a little lighter on the water... i did it to mine and it made a huge difference... cheers Paul

Ok, i changed the cog and put some negative tilt in my prop angle. This 32 rides the water almost level.
