You're gonna like the castle outrunner! I like not having to use a cooling can for the motor, but keeping the battery wires away from the motor is kind of a pain. I'm going through a lot of zip-ties!

Sweet, I ran mine along and zip-tied to the rail. 1 tie worked for me for the motor/esc wires.

This is round 2 for me, had 1 sold it and wanted another 1. Got lucky on craigslist.

I got a brand new hull and hatch for 60-bucks. Couldn't pass it up!

Whats the bolt circle for mounting the Castle 34-24-1800 outrunner? 25mm?
My prop hasn't been wet in a while.

Working on converting my Nitro to electric right now. I already layed a layer of glass along the whole bottom and I'm working on getting the hull prepped for paint. I was going to use a spare Feigao 1830kv, XL motor in it. I'm intrigued by these out runner motors now. Do they not need a cooling jacket? Castle still has the 32-24-1800kv motors at clearance prices. If they don't need a cooling jacket I will pick one up for sure!

Get one! No cooling jacket required. They are great motors. I am thinking about getting another for a spare.

Thanks. I think I will order one.

So you're running the Castle out runner motor with a Pro Boat 45A ESC? It's holding up well?

Just placed the order for 1 to go in my BJ26 nitro conversion. I cant believe it was only $49!! I'm going to run it in with my water cooled Mamba Max ESC on 4S.

Should be here by the end of the week

You can actually run it safely on 5s if you like. I'm getting 43-44 mph on 4s with an octura x-642.

I'm going to try the Grim 42x55 with that motor. I really like that prop in my MG. Should make the BJ26 fly!
