This carbon was bought from a German guy from rc.raceboats.
He sold a piece of it, years ago.
I knew he had another piece but he didn't wanna sell it.
Few years laters I saw that last piece on Ebay.de, seller was the same guy.
I won the auction :-)
I don't think it can be bought anywhere, nowadays.
( funny detail : on the site from R&G there is a picture of a motor-helmet, made from'
the same kind of cloth )
Setup : Plettenbergs 370/50, Schulze 40.160 -old version, 10S2P Flightmax 5000 30C for each motor, props : 5517/3 - 5518/3
Well, in fact it is !
I'd rather had different motors, but I'm not rich.
I've a "normal" job, wife and 2 kids, my own house, a caravan and a 1:1 boat.
These things are the most important to me.
My main goal was/is to have a large scale cat, that will move pretty fast.
If it goes anywhere between 110-125 km/h, I'm happy.
The motors have additional internal fans, and the esc's will be upgraded by Schulze, with additional
caps.
The last 10 years i've been building boats for other people.
They always paid me with rc-boats-related-stuff ( hull/motors escs etc etc )
Last year i sold everything I owned , 17 boats in total, all incomplete/halfway finished.
I kept all the money away from my wife etc etc ( ;-) ), and bought this CT-03, 3 Plettenbergs 370/50 and 3 schulze's 40.160. And 20 used cells Kokam 400 30C H5, and ordered 40 cells Flightmax 5000 30C from China. And bought the H&M X-ray Large, and a MHZ Z-drive.
And now I'm thinking of selling it all ( when I finish all my boats ) , to buy a motorcycle.
Please tell me I shouldn't !!!

Don't sell the Boat stuff you will regret it big time... In the last 17 years I've owned 23 different motorcycles.... they are a ton of fun no question, but they are two totally different beasts and one cannot replace one another... with our economy here in the states bikes are going CHEAP... and combine that with the price of gas and I am able to justify riding one every year.... so just pull that wild card with the misses... tell her it will save you money picking up a bike.... the gas mileage is fantastic!! but do yourself a favor... keep the boats!!!!
Yep, this afternoon I searched on the USA.Ebay. search : bobber .
a very nice Yamaha XS 650 bobber, for only 995 Dollar !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm living in the wrong country........
The only problem : saving costs by buying a motor ? I go to work on my bicycle, a 3 minutes ride !!!!

ahhhh, tell her your "joints" are wearing out from pedaling... she doesn't wanna have to push you around in a few years does she???
Underneath the cloth you can see some "bulbs" (????)
That are 1/4" aluminium blocks with threaded holes in it.
Glued onto the hull. No more messing around with tiny bolts !
The drives, rudder, aswell as the fake hydraulics are mounted in that way.
The pics also show the transom reinforcements, 5mm carbonplates.
