Your welcome.Good luck with it.They are fun boats, just a pain sometimes.I dumped too much money into it to get it where it is and its still just a cheap hull.Lesson learned.

Heh... and most recently, if you submarine it, the windows will blow out and the hull fill with water. Chummer discovered this weakness...

Think re-enforcing it will help mitigate the risk. But yeah, it was alarming. I still have a build in the works.

Yep, it's true...a good nose dive and the windsheild removes itself completely from the hatch. When it resurfaces you will ask yourself.... "Why is my boat driving itself around in circles and won't respond to my transmitter"?

You will then notice how the water line on your hull is slowly getting higher.

As you try to run through water (if you have ever tried this before you know how difficult it can be) to save your hard earned dollars, it will start to let out this magic smoke through the now huge opening where there used to be a windsheild. It looks really cool with all that smoke coming off the water. But don't worry too much..... eventually the hull will fill with enough water to put out the fire. And the best part,,, it will leave a strange odour in your hull that seems to never go away! I am getting all to familiar with that smell.LOL

                      But wait.....there's hope.

The windsheild removed itself from the hatch and was able to be glued back in. I'm not experienced with cloths and resins but I do have a freind that is.. He added carbon fibre on the inside of the hatch to reinforce the windsheild. Looks killer. I had him do this to my new EKOS hull as well just to be safe.

He also gave my new hull a nice shiny coat of clear. This will help keep the decals from peeling off. That is another problem with the EKOS hull.

Here's a few pics of the new hull.

                        Nice!

BTW- wax will help prevent the tape from sticking too much, but still care should be used every time to ensure the paint stays put.

Ill give it a run just to see how it goes and do it carefully LOL.

Well finally managed to get it wet, apart from putting some thread lock an all the nuts, bolts and grub screws just chucked it in the drink to see what happens.
Had trouble with cavition, forgot my prop box so couldnt try any bigger props,as iv got some 36mm,3 blade counter rotating props, comes with 34mm,3 blade 1s out of the box,but got speed and motor esc and batts were hardly warm.
                            here you go:

Nice vids there mate. What size LIPo's are you using.?I found that i picked up a lot of speed when i changed LiPos from LRP 2200mah 3S 25C to Turnigy 5000mah 3S 40 - 50c. in my EKOS. Also around 1 - 2 mm negative pitch on the props got my EKOS going the best in slight chop.

FighterCat57, What are wheel collars & where do you get them from?
