The only thing I really need help on is properly calculating the battery requirement.

I don't think that 6s1p 45c 5k will be enough but could be wrong.

I'm willing to bet that it will be plenty. Amp draw should stay relatively low since it is a twin.

Just in case though, I'm going to add four caps to prevent any possible voltage drop.

You could get 2 sets of 3.3Ah 45c batts and get a little under 150 amps per side? It would be lighter that 2 sets of 5000Ah. Or something like that.

Ya know. I never measured it, just recalled how it was referred to in hearsay. 34.5 is correct though. Explains why it fit on my 36" bookcase shelves.

                The turbo fans are here!

4CFM focused right on the ESC's. They are ultra light brushless fans!

The 40mm square fans are for the motors and will be mounted in the sponsons hanging just above them.

I have an Rx controlled solid state switch that I'll use to switch them on and off.

I've been seriously considering using a small EDF. He he.

There's probably better deals, but these guys had a bunch of other stuff I wanted too. http://www.coolerguys.com/

I decided to keep with the nice gelcoat finish and apply some decals. This way, I can easily change my mind later. =)

Can i ask why you mounted the struts close to the inside edge of the sponsons and not the middle?

I have no science behind it, just following what I saw on another build. Are they supposed to be in the middle?

No, not that i know of. I was just wondering if there was a technical reason for mounting them there.

Nope. Just thought it looked right there. Hmmm. Center mounting would keep the drive wires straighter.

Wonder if it's worth re-drilling them to move a bit.
