Cool man! Love the shape of that boat by the way! I always wondered how people ran their props with no nut. Man I hate losing a prop.

It is more common in hydros where the motor is way up front and the bend is very slight. I actually got started on them then made the switch to flex in cats and monos as I started breaking em.

I have never trusted just the fuel tubing, but it works great as a lock nut behind a regular or stock nut AND you don't have to have all that messy loctite

Got vid on second shakedown run today. I have swapped out the temp 1/16" wire for .130 flex (the original plan) and added South River racing small trim tabs... yes necessary. Yesterday ran an M440 prop, then swapped her out for an X640 - way better.

The fuel tubing prop nut worked wonders - don't have to worry about it unscrewing!

          check the vid

next vid will be 3S for sure... and Tracy, I hear ya. I just got me some 1/8" masking tape and hope to start the paint job soon. Got a buddy for the clear... but there are a ton of little bits of lettering on her..... we'll get the base colors and then work on the lettering.

I really do love this lil gal, she is done up right!!!

                            updates on the SmashPoker

So made some decals, pretty close. Still workin on more and need to paint up the nose.

Main thing got be back into this guy was the Venom hardware that came off the P1 - absolute perfect fit!!! I might even paint the rudder black - I like how it kinda disappears.

I found that the decals Kintec racing sells for inkjet printers works pretty nice - they lay real flat and will not have edges once you clear coat.

I copied the paint scheme and made all the decals you see on this guy, took me most of a day going to the different sponsors websites, copying them into drafting program and tracing them to make the crisp edges. I still have a few to add, but I ran out of decal paper.
